Zhengzhou South Fourth Ring Jialuhe Bridge

The South Fourth Ring Jialuhe Bridge is located at the Zhengshao Expressway -028 road section of the South Fourth Ring expressway project. It is an important channel to the city center and a major project of the Zhengzhou Fourth Ring Line.

The new Jialuhe Bridge is a ground bridge with steel box girders crossing the existing Jialuhe River. It is located nearly 20 meters above the ground bridge, erecting three spans of 58m, 50m, and 58m steel bridges without removing the original road surface, basically coinciding with the original bridge position. The spans before and after are all segment assembly bridges, and the steel box girders are assembled by segment assembly method, with three spans forming a continuous beam.

The Jialuhe Bridge has a complex environment: heavy traffic flow on and under the bridge, high traffic control pressure, high piers, and poor stability. To complete this important project with high quality, Zhengzhou Jianghe Heavy Industry used the YQ550t-60m segment assembly bridge erecting machine produced by the factory for lifting operations. The equipment is nearly 20 meters high, with a main beam total length of 134 meters.

Under the scorching sun, after preliminary assembly, debugging, and trial lifting, on July 1, 2019, the first section of the first 58-meter span steel box girder was successfully lifted, marking a key step in the construction of the Jialuhe Bridge and an important progress of the entire South Fourth Ring Line.
