High-pier bridge erecting machine beam erection project in mountainous area
The Taihang Mountain Expressway Laiqu Section is located in mountainous and hilly areas with extremely complex terrain and geology. There were no access roads in the mountains. Zhengzhou Jianghe Heavy Industry achieved the first bridge erecting machine beam erection on high piers in mountainous areas!
With a very small curve radius, a 50-meter-long, 276-ton steel-concrete composite box girder was successfully erected on a 96-meter-high large longitudinal slope pier, while withstanding variable wind speeds and directions in the mountains. It set a new record in road and bridge construction!
In the program "Salute to 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up, We Walked Together" (Episode 9), we also witnessed the skilled command and operation of Jianghe Heavy Industry workers.
The Laiqu Expressway is like a "bridge" connecting five expressways: Zhangshi, Rongwu, Baofu, Jingkun, and Qugang, greatly improving the traffic capacity of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei road network. After the opening of Laiqu Expressway, the travel time from Zhangjiakou to Shijiazhuang was shortened from more than 6 hours to about 2.5 hours.
